Our paralegals are invaluable
Corrine
As a litigation paralegal, Corinne supports and manages the caseloads of multiple Kingsgate lawyers.
Prior to joining Kingsgate in 2022, Corinne spent the majority of her 30 years of legal experience working in various in-house roles including assistant to the Board of Directors and Office Manager of a corporate legal department.
Corinne’s varied experience and professionalism is crucial to Kingsgate’s service model of providing cost-conscious and high-quality services to clients. In her time away from work, you will find Corinne at her daughter’s soccer games, walking her Bernedoodle, Harley, and on the pickleball courts.
Jackie
Jackie has been with Kingsgate Legal since its inception in 2017 as Kingsgate’s Office Manager and Corporate Paralegal.
In the 20 years prior, she was a legal assistant/paralegal working in Real Estate, Wills and Estates and Corporate Commercial. Jackie is an important member of the team and supports Kingsgate’s commitment to client service, affordability, and accessibility.
When Jackie isn’t holding down the Kingsgate fort, she enjoys travel, (goat) yoga, and playing with her dog Huxley.
Kathy
Kathy works with the Kingsgate Legal workplace investigations team and assists on a myriad of investigations and consultations.
Previously, she worked for a major utility company for 19 years, serving as Compliance and Privacy Officer. She has completed the University of Alberta’s 2-year Information Access and the Protection of Privacy program in 2008 and holds a CIAPP-P designation from the Canadian Institute of Access and Privacy Professionals.
Kathy is an experienced ethics and privacy adviser and brings a wealth of experience to the Kingsgate team. Kathy has unsuccessfully achieved retirement and graciously works on the Kingsgate Team when she is not attending to her family, including her two adored granddaughters.
Leona
Leona is a litigation and workplace services paralegal. Her 40 years of working in the legal profession brings a wealth of experience and common sense to the services Kingsgate provides clients.
Leona’s areas of focus are litigation, workplace investigations, and workplace culture assessments. Her ability to move client files along in a timely and efficient way makes Kingsgate’s services all the more satisfying and responsive to client needs.
Leona’s away time is spent enjoying time with her husband and family, her home in Palm Springs, running, cycling, and all sorts of outdoor activities.
